Overcoming: migraine headaches

“I started seeing John in 2014 when I was struggling with debilitating migraine headaches. I had been having them for years but they had gotten more frequent. I could count on a nasty migraine each menstrual cycle. The first time I came in, I was four days into a doozy of migraine! It was so bad that I got sick in the restroom at the beginning of my appointment. I started to feel like maybe I was too sick to be there and should of stayed home. But John was so compassionate and reassuring that I was going to get the help I needed! And he was so right! I think it had been about 10 minutes with the needles in when I started to feel some relief, enough to talk with John and tell him what was going on in my life. He put in a few more needles and soon my migraine was 100% GONE! As I lay on the table I felt so deeply relaxed and just kept thinking, thank you, thank you. I can’t tell you what a difference acupuncture has made in my life. Every once in a while I will still get a migraine but they aren’t nearly as bad.
